Who is Edina Robotics Foundation? 

Edina Robotics Foundation (ERF) is a charitable organization founded to promote student involvement in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in Edina Public Schools that supports the larger goals of spreading support for STEM across multiple organizations and children globally.  ERF provides direct financial support to FIRST Robotics Team 1816, the Green Machine, and typically 4-10 FIRST Tech Challenge teams.  

Why Donate?
When you donate, you’re not just helping us build a robot — you’re helping us build future engineers, innovators, and leaders. Every contribution helps students gain hands-on experience in STEM, learn project management, and engage with their community.  

Building a competitive robot and running a team takes more than creativity and dedication — it takes funding. Parts for the robot and tools can cost between $10k-$20k per season, plus outreach events, travel, and scholarships for students, who normally cannot afford this program, can cost an additional $50k-$100k per season. Donations and sponsorships help cover all of these costs, and we greatly appreciate any donations or sponsorship amounts.
